Sympathetically renovated, it retains original features and is just 15 minutes’ stroll from Lord Street. Well placed for all that this striking Victorian seaside town has to offer, including the second longest seaside pleasure pier in Great Britain. With beaches, impressive parks and miles of coastal walks it is a great place to relax. The area offers shopping, restaurants and nightlife as well as championship golf courses. Southport train station is a 15 minute walk away, or 5 minutes by car, and provides easy access to Liverpool (approximately 30 mins), with all its museums, theatres, shopping, Liverpool One, Albert Dock and other attractions too numerous to mention. Trains also operate to the historic city of Chester (approximately 1 hour) and bustling city of Manchester (approximately 1¼ hours). Beach 2 miles. Shop and pub 440 yards, restaurant 880 yards.
